THE STRAYED cherry tree,
Bewildered by red-brick walls
In the lost by-street,
Is dusted with green.

Its white blossoms push	5
Long and scented fingers
Into the liquid air.

Clouds of white butterflies
Silently drift,
Like loosened and breathing petals	10
Seeking the sun.
