If War Is Right

Parke Farley

IF war is right, then God is might

And every prayer is vain:

Go raze your temples from the hills—

Red death is in the plain.

If war is right, then God is might,

And every prayer is vain:

Look not for Christ upon the hills—

He lies among the slain.
