Death

Robert J. Roe

From “Interplanes”

WHAT can death do to you

That life has not already done?

What do you fear?

It is a gentle falling

Of the light …
A splendor is done.

Twilight … some stars appear

Silently, one by one.

A stranger splendor is begun.
