Care

Janet Norris Bangs

CARE now lies

Where Care was not,

Shoved in the corner

But not forgot—

Care, in the corner.

I would call Laughter

Out of the trees;

But Laughter has bird-eyes,

And Laughter sees

Care, in the corner.
