Cautious

Robert J. Roe

From “A Sailor’s Note-book”

IM foggy night

Ship goes along

Wie nice girl which is got by mistake

Im sailors’ boarding-house

Un sneaks out after dark.

Her dress makesit small slippery noise,

Un boards squeak in rotten floor

From hall-way.
