Fantasy

A. A. Rosenthal

MY heart is a valley of black tulips,

Blue-black tulips

That are sorrow.

Your smiles are cool white moonbeams,

Faint white moonbeams

Of childish laughter.

Moonbeams among black tulips

Are silver kisses

Caressing sorrow.
