| THAT sovereign thought obscured? That vision clear | |
| Dimmed in the shadow of the sable wing, | |
| And fainter grown the fine interpreting | |
| Which as an oracle was ours to hear! | |
| Nay, but the Gods reclaim not from the seer | 5 |
