§ 4. “Mourt’s” Relation.


Two minor authors introduce the early group of New England historians. The real name of the first is not known, but his book is called, from its publisher, “Mourt’s” Relation, a description of affairs at Plymouth from its settlement until the date of publication, 1622.   12
