   ADJECTIVE:IRREGULAR, uncertain, unpunctual, capricious, erratic, heteroclite, ecrhythmic, ecrhythmous, desultory, fitful, flickering; rambling, rhapsodical; spasmodic; immethodical, unsystematic, unequal, uneven, variable.
   ADVERB:IRREGULARLY &c. adj.; by fits and starts (discontinuously) [See Discontinuity].
