my question is for the correct follow up answer and not explanation and NOT THE ORIGINAL ANSWER. first of all why is vab(0-)=2ix shouldn't it be 3ix? where did the relation vc(0-)=vc(0+)=vab(0-)-3ix come from? can you elaborate on that? and when t=0 can we always consider a voltage source of 1v? or is it case specific can you explain that? and in t infinity where did u get the equation vc(t)= vc(inf) + vc(0).... from? i dont understand how we reached that relation? same thing for ic(t) and once again how is vAB(t)= vc(t)+3ix? please answer each question individually as i really need to understand the problem and needless to say i will give a thumbs up if answer is good.  PLEASE ANSWER PROPERLY AND BASED ON THE GIVEN SOLUTION IN THE FOLLOW UP.
