I have decided to use section 6 of the study session in book 1.
From my research of the Lodge Bistro I have found the following problems within the company.
1) An annual meeting at HQ, instead of regular financial reports and audits.
As Patricia has given café managers autonomy to manage their bistro, she computerised the financial report system and audit visits have been minimised. Information management’s purpose is to gather information and based on this information decisions are made.
2) Food and service quality standards are falling as are in particular of the East Chem bistro has been in the bottom 10% with

Information management is a conscious process that needs to be planned. Having regular updates of the business is information gathered and this assists in any decision making. This is to be used by the business and is most useful at the starting point of the decision making process. The information gathered should be used at all levels of the business not just at senior management positions.
Collection of information is essential to support the major functions and activities of the organisation. To ascertain this it is essential to have regular reports of the organisation and to do this you need regular financial reports and audits. A true vision of the organisation will give any management a better understanding of their situation and will thus help them to make a good viable decision.
The second issue was the quality of food and services because the café managers are given autonomy they are free to make decisions about their outlet and how it is run. Thus allowing for each outlet to be individualised and branding of the bistro is jeopardised. When Joyce was in charge she had a strict regime which meant mangers adhered to her rules and regulations. The management may not have been as happy as they are now; they still were given motivation in the form of rewards for the top achievers while under achievers had to change or were sacked.
As a company, evolution should be a smooth transition over time and especially with

Written assessment can be used to give a differentiation of questions to the learner and can be used to judge knowledge at a given level. It also provides a good paper trail. Problems could arise if the learner did not have good reading skills or was dyslexic, evidence could be lost.
“All the cells take in and use nutrients and other substances from their surroundings. Cells of the intestine and the kidney are specialized to carry out absorption. Cells of the kidney tubules reabsorb fluids and synthesize proteins. Intestinal epithelial cells reabsorb fluids and synthesize protein enzymes” (McCance & Huether, pg. 2).
The difference between communicating with adults, children and young people are adults are able to process information much more quickly and
Alerts can be set on customer and employee information to make sure they are contacted to keep the system updated. Using good software for database purposes will help with maintaining information accurately. External and internal audits are another way of keeping information up to date.
EBITDA - Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization is an indicator of a company's financial performance which is calculated in the following manner: ("EBITDA - Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation and Amortization Definition | Investopedia," n.d.)
If you have concerns about the care and safety of service users and feel like you can’t go to your manager then you have the option to contact some big and confidential organisations such as Care Quality Commission (CQC) or Health and Safety Executive (HSE) or environmental health who can also offer support and information and give you any answers you may need to any concerns.

As a future educator, it will be my job to continue acknowledging, valuing and teaching Indigenous origins, histories and cultures using the Australian Institute for Teaching and School (AITSL) standard 2.4 and the Australian Curriculum. This will give my future students a better understanding that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people were the first custodians of our Australian land and of their origins. They lived in Australia 60,000 years before the British settled in 1788. I will teach an Australian historical time line prior to 1788.
Brain Bigelow, John La Gaipa and William Corsaro have both made important contributions into understanding how children interpret “friendship”. Bigelow and La Gaipa carried out one of the first studies from what was a very under researched area. Bill Corsaro, a key figure in childhood studies, was particularly successful in gaining access into young children's worlds which has helped shape a further picture of this somewhat intriguing definition. After reviewing the Balance sheet I have a concern regarding the Current and short term liabilities. Creditors/ trade payable is payment yet to be made for goods already received, if this continues to rise then it will effect the business profit and less stock will have to be ordered so repayments can be made. Bank overdrafts also continued to rise and in the long-term the business will be paying greater interest, which will again eat into the profit. Both increased quite a great deal from the last year-end. If this continues then the business will get into bad debts and owe too much that it will end up having to sale its assets to survive. Finally I can see that due to the above issues and other issues the net current assets/ working capital has decreased so therefore the business is less value then it was a year ago. If the business is worth £1 million now, this could soon decrease within another year.
Jane thinks she will be taking ten months’ maternity leave after the birth of their child. Her employer’s maternity package is full pay for the first six months, and then on the statutory maternity pay, worth about £94 net per week, for the further four months. They looked into Adan taking some paternity leave but have decided against it, and
Nevertheless, the majority of customers are very satisfied with the amount of serving along with the quality of their meal as well as the price paid. The strategy of being a low priced high value added has seen problems due to lack of customers which is affecting the bottom line drastically. This inevitable circumstance has put a hold on operations and started an investigation upon various neighboring competitors and their own strategies.
Being a partner is "a strong motivating factor," "You're not just an employee; you are an owner of the business. That makes you feel differently about everything."(Tom Miller department store director at JMP)
