In daily life showing respect is easy. For example, holding the door for someone and not letting it slam in their face, giving up your seat on the bus to the elderly or someone else who needs it, or by simply ignoring an opinion that may differ from ours instead of berating the original poster on why they are wrong. With a little bit of respect for one another we can all make the world a better place for everyone that lives on Earth.

RESPECT mean that we need to be nice to each other and help each other when people need it. Me and my sisters try to be nice to each other but when we don’t we call each other names but I notice that when we need thing we need things we apologize. We try to respect each other but sometimes we just don’t care.

To me, respect means to treat everybody with care and recognition. Being respectful is about accepting a person’s styles, methods, and thinking as well as showing him or her courtesy and politeness. Treat people the way you want to be treated by showing him or her the same respect you want for yourself. This action could be carried out in a day-to-day classroom by allowing someone to include their own ideas and contribute to things such as group projects or just being kind in conversation and other types of communication. There are multiple moods that include parts being a bright time for people. Another mood would be that Arlo makes it pretty motivational to some people. Finally, people could say that Arlo’s life get’s dark after he’s done with football.

Respect to me is showing someone you think highly of them and well, respect them. Respect is a very important part of my life. Justice, something that is a must and that is to be fair, honest, and most important truthfulness. In the medical field as a Caregiver and School has taught me how important it is to be truthful and be responsible for my actions. In other cases respect is earned, and not given. What I mean by this is that, sometimes people must gain the respect of others. This can be earned in many ways, like being respectful of others, being the best you can be, and doing kind things for others. This respect can cause people to look up and follow in example of someone, and eventually making you an example for others to follow and look up to, on so on and so forth.

Respect is holding something or someone in high regard. Respect has an impact on all aspects of my life, both personally and professionally. As a personal value, respect is twofold; I must respect everyone around me as well as respecting myself. I will demonstrate respect for others by treating everyone equally and without judgement. I will listen and be considerate of the opinions and values of others, regardless of conflicting opinions. I will respect myself by dressing modestly and not objectifying myself as a woman. I will not engage in any unethical behaviour that may compromise my personal morals and values.

Most people go through life and always hear about the word respect, but they don’t know what it means. Respect is the esteem for or a sense of the worth or excellence of a person. There are things in life you need to hold in respect. Respect for yourself, respect for others, and respect for property. Respect is taught to people everywhere and it is even taught to them in their religions. Respect is the very aspect that keeps everything in your life.

Treat others like they are important, and they really are. Most people want to feel appreciated, valued, and want to be treated with dignity. Treat others with the amount of respect you expect to receive from them. Being respectful to other exhibits you have respect for yourself.

When demonstrating respect for others, you give value to their being and ideals. It includes taking someone's feelings, needs, thoughts, and wishes into consideration. Our new generation has demonstrated a lack of respect, whether it's at home, school, or at work; from student to student, child to parent, or coworker to coworkers. The highest level of respect is always earned never given. One of the best ways of showing respect for someone is an example of this quote by Byant H. McGill "One of the most sincere forms of respect is actually listening to what another has to say" which is truly listening to the person's point of view.

The character count program here at E.O Green has made an impact on my life. All the pillars showed me different perspectives or life. The most important ones to me were respect and fairness. Respect taught me to deal peacefully with anger, insults, and disagreements. Also, fairness has taught me to be open-minded and listen to others opinions before making a decision. Both character counts have thought me different things but most importantly they thought me not to blame others carelessly and be considerate of other feelings.

Respect is an important value to be taught when growing up. Through the years I have learned that in order to learn anything you must have respect for others. I have learned many valuable lessons from listening to my grandmother. She has told me many of her experiences, which has made me a better person. Having respect for other people has allowed me to be more open-minded and see qualities in people that most would not. I have always listened to what my friends and family has to say. That doesn’t always mean that I agree with them, but it is their opinion, so I respect it. In return I receive respect from them. As people begin to respect me more their trust in me also grows.
