Many historians believe that Buddhism was originated in northern India in the 5th century. Buddhism emerged after social, political, and religious changes were happening in northern Italy. The founder of Buddhism was Siddhartha Gautama, often referred to as “Buddha.” The religion began when Siddhartha realized the suffering of this world and decided to come up with a cure. He wanted to free humans from suffering. That was his intention when founding Buddhism: to lead the living beings to permanent liberation of suffering. He began his teachings of enlightenment after he had been in an enlightened state.
Buddhism is a major global religion with a complex history and system of beliefs. The founder of Buddhism is said to be Siddhartha Gautama, the son of an Indian warrior-king. Gautama led an extravagant life through early adulthood, reveling in the privileges of his social class. Gautama became bored with the indulgences of royal life so he wandered into the world searching for understanding. After encountering an old man, ill man, a corpse, and an ascetic, he was convinced that suffering lay at the end of all existence. He then became a monk, depriving himself of worldly possessions in the hope of comprehending the truth of the world around him. The culmination of his search came while meditating beneath a tree, where he finally understood how to be free from suffering, and ultimately, to achieve salvation. Gautama became known as the Buddha, meaning the “Enlightened One.” He spent the remainder of his life

The founder of Buddhism is Buddha Siddhartha, born 624 in present-day Nepal. His name means “Awakened One.” A Buddha is somebody who has awoken from sleep and suddenly sees things truthfully. As Buddha grew up, he could speak sixty-four different languages and was a good mathematician. He often visited poor and old people, and realized that every person would one day experience sufferings, for example, sickness and death. Because Buddha believed in reincarnation, he became aware of the fact that everyone would experience these sufferings in a never-ending cycle. This caused him to feel sympathy for them and himself, and so he wished that they could all escape suffering. Thus, this created the religion of Buddhism.

The word Buddhism is derived from the word “budhi”, to awaken, so it makes sense that the creation of the religion begins with its founder’s awakening. It is said that Buddhism started in the 6th century due to the actions of its founder, Siddhartha Gautama, the wealthy warrior son of a king and queen in Lumbini (now Nepal). When Siddhartha was young, a soothsayer predicted that he would become a renouncer and his father showered him in luxuries, hoping to change this prediction. However, as a young man, Siddhartha went on a series of chariot rides in which he witnessed a variety of suffering people and came to the realization that material pleasures, such as his own, only serve to mask human suffering. After entering a period of severe and damaging renunciation and realizing that it only added suffering, Siddhartha meditated under a tree and woke up the

Since Buddha wrote nothing about the religion, most of the Buddhist texts emerged 150 years after his death and during a period with several divisions among people of this faith. The task of categorizing the foundation of Buddhism is remarkably difficult because of the developing and adaptability of the religion's accounts. However, similar to other religion, Buddhism has an influence on worldview, especially in countries where it has been enjoined to the social and political life.
