APA Discussion One important aspect I gained by taking the APA quiz is that there is no time frame for plagiarism. Another aspect is that Walden University professors can give you an “F” on a paper that shows plagiarism (Walden University, n.d.). I included this because I thought that should you have plagiarized then the first course of action was to be put on academic probation. I am glad to now know that this is not the case, although I will continue to view this as such to avoid plagiarism in any of my papers. A strategy I will use to ensure that I have properly cited my sources will be to utilize me resource table that I enter all used resources. This allows me to access these resources easily, ensure I have the proper APA format, and
In Honors English III, Mrs. Bryce assigned the class a research project. Although we were allowed to work in groups, all of the writing portions were expected to be done individually. We were allowed do to research on any topic that we wanted. Unlike most papers we had written, this paper would be written in APA format. Some of the work would be done in class, such as the Introduction and Literature Review. However, most of it was expected to be done outside of school. Some additional requirements was that we had a minimum of three data collection sources and three findings from them.
At this point, you should now be able to summarize your evaluations and connect it to your research report. Do not forget to emphasize its contribution to the field, as well. Again, avoid subjective assessments that you cannot justify. End your critique with an APA formatted reference list. Remember to use the heading “References,” not “Bibliography,” or “Works Cited.” Also, do not put the font in bold. Center the word at the top of the page, like what you will see on the next page. Also recheck your parenthetical and in-text citations and make sure they match with your references list to avoid unintended plagiarism. Make sure your reference list is alphabetized and properly indented. Word count of this dummy critique: 458 words excluding
Make sure you have enough information to identify and return to your sources. If the source is from a database, make sure you copy the permanent url link, the not ulr in the address box. You will need the info and links to create proper MLA citations.
The consequences that one may face if found to be in violation of Bethel’s Code of Conduct for plagiarism is not worth the risk of expulsion. We all have enrolled in Bethel for various reasons but one commonalty is that we all want to successful complete our respective programs. If everyone takes the time to learn and utilize the APA formatting style that Bethel requires then we not only do what is required but we also give the authors credit for their work.
I believe that everyone could benefit from reading the two articles if they don’t already know what is going on or what has been going on in the US regarding law enforcement and the prison system. “The Right Choices” article digs fairly deep into the fact that there’s a disproportionate amount of black people in prison compared to other races. I feel as though some people are so quick to come to a conclusion that ‘black people must commit more crime’ when in actuality the systems basically target black people and people of color as a whole.
Unfortunately, the students essay was not as clear as it could have been; if the student had followed the required APA guidelines it would have been more effective. There were multiple formatting errors that showed evidence in pasting paragraphs including the use of several different size fonts in the essay. I realize we are all new students to this class and here to learn. However I also fill like by giving constructive feedback to each other it will help us to grow in the long run
Whether you're writing a paper or giving an oral presentation, you must cite all of your sources.
For me the hardest part of this the paper was finding the references. I struggled to find the peer reviewed journals. I ended up using the library references to find the peer reviewed journals. Once I found the web page to search the key words I was able to pull up peer reviewed journals. The paper that was provided by Professor Glenn was also very helpful. The emotional aspect of this paper was challenging. However, the paper allowed me to come to a better understanding of myself. For the first couple of stages I had to ask my parents about what I did. My mom enjoyed talking to me about my childhood. Reflecting on my past help me appreciate the life my parents provide for me. The stages I am in presently were easy to talk about. I did not have to ask other people about these years, I was able just to reflect on what I have done and see if I reached the goal. For the stages I have not reached I got to reflect on what I hope to
ALL SOURCES USED MUST BE CITED AT THE END OF THE EXAM USING THE CORRECT APA CITATION FORMAT. If you use the internet to resource information, then you should cite the website using correct online APA citation format; be sure to include the date accessed. (2 points)
All the four students gave me feedback which all had a different perspective regarding my paper and that was very important as it allowed me to see my paper very deep. I used the feedback I got from my peer and changed my first draft, including the format of my paper to APA. The feedback also indirectly helped me to learn more about APA format.
You and I have something in common; we both have our reasonings as to why we are participating in school, in part, because of our mothers. My mother and I have been through a lot in the past 10 years and once she chose to restart school and really stick it out, her life has really turned around. So, essentially, I am following her example. She is nearing her master’s in human resources and since starting her journey, her resilience to every hoop she has had to jump through has become more stronger than it ever was before. The fear of plagiarism, I believe, is a fear within each of us students. I highly recommend rereading the read section of unit 3, it really helped make the concept of APA formatting stick in my memory. Also,

First ,I listen to the patient and hear them, because it is very important to let the patient explain their concerns and patient needs to see that you actually pay attention to them. Next, I would emphasize to patient and validate their feelings. I would let them know that I understand that they might be confused and disappointed. I would than apologize for any confusion or inconvenience this situation might haver caused the patient. After that, I use this situation as a chance to educate patient about Pas, their roles and practice. I will explain that PA is a medical professional; with master degree and education and training that gives us set of knowledge and skills to perform the examination, analyze and diagnose. I also explain that PA
I transitioned from a community college and the English classes that have taken I felt that while the format are stated as APA and so on, I still have my challenges with the APA format. Like most, I feel that writing in general is already challenging, certainly an art if you will hard to master and we will only with practice. I feel that the hardest part of the APA formatting is making sure that the header & footers have everything that is required, and even so at time the results are not favorable.
Based on MLA format, you should have in-line citations for all your sources. I gave you three sources (the blue links) but you should have at least three or more sources you used above that. So in total you should have a minimum of six citations – but in order to get the
